Hello,
From what I understood, for first- or second-order reactions, the rate varies with reactant concentration. This contrasts with zero-order reactions, where the rate is fixed and concentration-independent. If someone could elaborate further, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Re: Difference between K and Kp
Both terms relate to the equilibrium constant, but K is used when the reactants and/or products are specified in terms of moles. Sometimes, Kc will be used in place of just K. In contrast, Kp can only be calculated for gases and when the reactants and products are given under partial pressure. Hope ...

Hello, E must be positive when there is a spontaneous process. This is evident when we consider the equation -nFE = deltaG. We are aware that a spontaneous reaction occurs when deltaG is negative. According to this logic, E must be positive because the equation's other side, which must remain negati...

This is the response to someone who asked what is an acid and a base. So basically, everything that contributes an H+ (proton) is an acid, while anything that accepts an H+ is a base (proton). A lot of the acids are distinguished from bases by having a H in front of them. Hope this helped!
