Although both answers are correct, it is recommended to have whole numbers for stoichiometric coefficients. On an exam, generally use whole numbers.

Professor Lavelle said that it is fine to convert to sig figs at the end of a calculation. We do not need to incorporate the correct sig figs for each individual number in equations.
