First is it possible to have an -OH attached to a R-O? Like: R-O-OH? If it is possible, would it still be considered an alcohol and how would name it? Thanks!

Well the easiest (and most clever lol) way is to remember that LEO says GER. As in, Losing Electrons is Oxidation and Gaining Electrons is Reduction. Why is it that we do not calculate the bonds breaking between the carbons in this question? The reaction with the carbon goes from CH4 to CCl4. Are the bonds not breaking to form this or are they its not included for some reason?

For the wave function graphs that are in the course reader, is psi by itself ever used or do we always measure probability only by the psi^2 graph? Also, since the height (y-axis) of the psi^2 graph represents the probability, does the x-axis represent a specific location in the atom?
