Conformational Energy Diagrams

In lecture as well as the organic chemistry textbook, we discussed the stability of conformation to be able to find the potential energy. We will be required to know the conformational energy diagrams for various other dihedral angles?

I believe we do since we covered most of the functional groups within that chart in the course reader and we discussed them in lecture and sections, but if we aren't responsible for them, it doesn't hurt to know them.

Since a Lewis Acid/Base can be terms used interchangeably with Electrophiles and Nucleophiles, can one use that relationship to determine nucleophilicity? I memorized a few oxidation states for the midterm and I somewhat remember how to calculate them from Chem 14A, however I was wondering what other methods you guys implemented in finding the oxidation states for the cathodes and anodes because it took quite a while for me to be sure with my answers.

It states to estimate the average current through the body with the assumption that delta_G is 10 MJ. I understand how to solve this question, however, with this in mind, I was wondering if these types of applications will be utilized on future quizzes and tests?

I just wanted to clarify if the standard state of the reactions must be that the partial pressures of the gases would be 0.1 MPa as well as any other variations would affect calculations?

Real Gases Clarification

So essentially as pressure increases, the volume decreases and approaches zero but never reaches zero and real gases also contain intermolecular forces. This then makes the most ideal gas one with the smallest amount of molecules and the one with the least amount of intermolecular forces, correct?

I understand that the isolobal analogy applies to chemical fragments with similar valence-orbital structures that can replace others in the molecule, but I wanted to clarify if it is also because of similar shapes, energy, and number of electrons as well?

Lab Detection

The worked examples for the De Broglie equation in the course reader asked if the wavelength could be experimentally detected in the lab. The answer being 1.4 x 10^-10 m. Is there any specific measurement for a wavelength that would deem it unverifiable?
