Bond Order

Okay so when BO=3, it means there's a triple bond.
But if BO=1.5, what kind of bond is that?

Unhybridized Orbitals

I don't fully get the purpose of unhybridized orbitals for figuring out an atom's hybridization. Is it to fill up all the number of electrons or is there something else to it? Also if the hybridized orbitals fill up all the number of electrons will there be no unhybridized orbitals?

Formal Charge

For the best structure, does the central atom have to have a formal charge of 0?

Bond Strength

Quick question: I just don't get how a molecule with another electron can have a stronger bond than the same molecule with one less electron. Wouldn't the extra electron cause more repulsion and a longer bond?

Orbital Energy Levels

Is the 4s orbital's energy higher than that of the 3D orbital?

Confused about photoelectric effect! [ENDORSED]

I am still kinda confused about the photoelectric effect, can someone explain it more in depth for me please? I would really appreciate it.

Base Units

So if I have an answer to a problem that isn't in base units, should I convert the answer to base units even if the question gives me a different unit?

Hope that makes sense!

Re: de Broglie wavelength

What led de-Broglie to think that the material particles may also show wave nature?
