you can basically change the KJ to joules like you said. you just have to make sure that your units cancel out in the end to end up with the desired units. it also depends on the other variables you are given, if you are given the heat capacity in kj then use kj if you are given the values in joules...

carbon has more electron Affinity since its p orbital only has 2 electrons so it is not even half full.therefore , it wants to grab electrons. it is an exception to the rule since the trend increase as you go up the group to the right across the period. you also have to keep in mind that for O and n...
