Distinguishing Nucleophiles
Hey, I was just wondering why on Ch. 4 review problem 1 they distinguished F as an electrophile yet in the reading they said F was a nucleophile. Is it now an electrophile because it wants to have the octet or did the book make an error ?

When do you use w=-p delta v as compared to just w=p delta v. Does the negative have to do with reversible and irreversible reactions or is it compression and expansion?

If we have lets say tetraamminediaquacobalt(III) bromide, and we are putting together the formula, does it matter if we put the ammine after the aqua or are there specific rules for the order? also can we put the aqua in the (OH2) form or does it need to be (H2O)?

For the chlorine, how in the cis they do not cancel but in the trans they cancel, does that just determine whether it is polar or nonpolar or does it also relate to the charges and repulsion?

I know that Heisenberg's equation deals with the uncertainty of the location of the electron with its mmovements and how Schrodinger's equation squares the wavefunction to find the probability of finding the electron but what is the difference between them and when do we know when to use each one?

With the multi-electron atoms, it gives (q1 x q2/r) to get the potential energy without shielding, but does shielding happen between s, p,d, and f or is the energy different between different s,p,d,and f levels as well. For example, if there was 2p and 3p would we use that equation or would it just ...
