Difference between Alcohol and Aldehydes
I understand that the H is attached to the center atom for aldehydes, but how can we tell whether or not it is based on the molecular formula?

Only for benzene rings. However, you do not need to know this for the exam.

Tert vs. Neo
What exactly is the difference between tert and neo. I know tert is has 3 (4 including the one from the main chain) carbons attached to the connecting carbon, but neo also has 3 methyls connected to the 2nd to last carbon in the substituent. Can they be used for the same structure?

Alkyne rotation
When drawing Alkynes, how come the line structures do not bend (as they do in alkanes and alkenes)? Does this have to do with the inability of triple bonds to rotate?
