Galvanic cells use chemical energy to produce electrical energy, while electrolytic cells use electrical energy to produce chemical energy. Galvanic is spontaneous while electrolytic is non-spontaneous.

No the energy of the atom will not increase, as the energy is directed towards removing the electron.

In the textbook it says that black body radiation is emitted at different wavelengths, so I'm guessing it would fall under the wavelike category.

Light, not photons, has qualities of both waves and particles. Photons come into relevance as they are the packages of energy, or more particle-like characteristic of light. And I believe it is more conceptual than quantitative.
