I was looking over question 7 in the second to last practice final and I don't understand how it was known to use CH3COO- + H20 = CH3COOH + OH-? Based on previous finals it will cover all the material we have learned this quarter. There can be a chance that it will contain maybe a couple more questions on material we have been tested on yet but overall I'd say its an equal amount of everything. MO will be on the quiz but some complex problems about equilibrium that as mentioned require ICE box will not be. Its similar to our last quiz that the prep quizzes had info not going to be on the quiz. Its safe to stick to knowing everything up to page I believe 135.

How do you find the number of attachment possible?
In the second practice quiz for quiz 3 how is it found that (en) has two possible attachments? Is this based of the lone pairs? If so how does oxalato have 2 possible attachments of it has 10 lone pairs? Thank you!

How was 1.1 found for delta v? I am lost on that and how would we proceed if the speed is given along with +_ of a certain amount. For example, a speed of 5+_0.3 m.s^-1. What would we use as delta v to find delta p?

Based on previous experiences with Chem classes I've found it easier to keep all values kept to the amount of sig. figs asked in the questions and not round up. Once at the final answer you do the same and leave answer with the amount of sig. figs asked. Basically try not to round so you can keep th...
