Can anyone explain how we are suppose to apply Trouton's rule to any problems? So "various kinds of liquids" entropy of vaporization is almost the same value 85-88 J K-1 mol-1. Does that mean that for any liquid we should use this as the "referred to" entropy?

Isn't the stoichiometric point is just the location when the pH=7 because that is neutral. Which is when the acid and base equal each other. When calculating the Buffer do you guys have any advice on how to remember steps. I found it very difficult when doing titration problems. I couldn't get it to stick in my head.

How do we know when an element goes in the middle of the Lewis structure. Does it have to do with the ionization energy? For example, ONF. Or any combination of three elements.

But we multiply the 2 to 2.35+/-0.1 m/s or just multiply 2 to 0.1m/s. I'm still a little confused on that part.

Cuz like how Is that done on a step by step mathematical basis.

The question is,

Determine the molecular formula of a compound with the following composition by mass: 18% C, 2.5% H, 63.5% I, x% O, and a molar mass of 400 g/mol.

My question is how do I find the percentage of X.

Do I just add the percentages and subtract from 100%.

When doing MO. In the course reader page 91. It says O2 Valence e- configuration. The begins the configuration. It starts off with (sigma2s)^2(sigma*2s)^2(sigma2Pz)^2 (pi2P)^4(pi*2P)^2 Why is the (sigma2s) raised to the power of 2. Also the other configurations. Why are they raised to the power of 2.
