### Re: entropy formula for change in volume

When do I use 5/2*R and 7/2*R? To find deltaS= nRlnV2/V1 but I know there are some situations where we use deltaS=n*(5/2)*R*lnV2/V1 or the same equation but with (7/2)

### Re: Lines in Lewis Structures

So at the end of the two "triangle" bolded and striped, there is a Carbon Atom. This Lewis structure also gives us the structure in 3D; the bolded triangle means that the atom attached to its end is towards the front while the atom attached to the striped triangle is towards the back. Ther...

### Re: Adding H20 AND H+

When balancing our redox reaction (by adding H2O, H+, and OH-) can we use the couple H2O/H+ for reactions in an acidic and basic solution both or do we have to use OH- instead of H+ when working with a chemical reaction done in a basic solution?

### Re: Constant pressure and volume

Heat capacity is greater for a system with constant pressure because more heat needs to be added to that type of system to be able to get the increase in temperature when compared to a system with constant volume.
