I believe the cis refers to the position saying that the substituents are oriented in the same directions. H_3C and CH_2CH_3 are the substituents. I'm not completely sure, but that's what I thought when I saw it.

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking, but I believe it's because of the phase. Since qdryice would go through sublimation and delta H is negative for sublimation (and at a constant pressure, qp = delta H)

My TA said to focus on the resources given to us (like quizzes and book problems), so my guess is that if we are tested on derivations, it'll be one that someone went over in Lecture or discussion.
