If E = mc2 is the energy of a photon, shouldn't wee need the mass of a photon to calculate this? This means photons have a mass, but only when they are moving and producing kinetic energy? But, they have no rest mass?

Say you are given a question, and inside this question they say there is 346.8 g/mol. It asks you to solve some unknown quantity. Does you answer need to have the same significant figures as the number presented in the problem?
