There is SN1 but it's not covered in 14B so I believe you have to specify that it is SN2

I use "OILRIG" to help me memorize which is which. It stands for "Oxidation Is Loss" (in electrons) and "Reduction Is Gains" (in electrons).

I believe it's done using enthalpy and entropy. Gibbs Free Energy is done by finding the change in enthalpy minus temperature times the change in entropy.
