Re: Final Exam Details and Review Sessions Winter 2017

Chris, the TA, said he'd post his powerpoint of his review session on chemistry community. Does anyone know where that is?

Re: Strategies for studying for the final

I'm skimming through each section for the equations/diagrams/graphs/tables, writing/drawing them out and making sure I understand how to use them. Then going over my quizzes/midterms and seeing if I could still do those problems. Whatever I don't remember, I'll go back and look at the question more ...

Units?

Does it matter what unit we use for our final answer if the values are the same? Does it depend on the equation we use? For example, we're asked to find entropy, which is usually given as J/(K mol), but we give it in kJ/(K mol). Would we get marked off? Also, would it effect the significant figures?

Re: Post All Chemistry Jokes Here

What did Chlorine say to the other molecule?

Do you have 11 protons? Because you're sodium fine and if we bonded it'd be ionic

Re: Discussion switch

I would go to that discussion and ask the TA. I was able to switch discussions by talking to my TA since one class had less than 20 people and my 8am discussion had a full room. I did hear that the thursday 9am section had some open seats, so if it isn't too late you should still be able to.
