The name given for the compound in the picture is given in the answer key as
2-Isopropyl-1.1-dimethylcyclopentane. Why isn't methyl before propyl? Aren't you supposed to order substituents in alphabetical order while ignoring prefixes? Does "iso" not count as a prefix?

Answer key says for diagram A, "work is done by the system" and for diagram B, "work is done on the system." Why isn't it "work done by the system" for both diagrams?
