To determine if a molecule is polor or non polar find the 3d structure using the lewis structure and VSPR rules. If the molecule is symmetric and the dipole moments cancel out it is non polar. Do we get a formula sheet with conversions between things like electron volts and joules and. other conversions that we might need to know? Or are these things we should be memorizing?
