Chemisty 14Bl and Chemistry 14C

Is it not smart to do the chemistry labs not in sync with the chemistry course (ex. 14B with BL) or is it manageable to do 14C with 14BL then take 14CL later? Thanks

When do you add water into the equation? What are the hints that adding water is a needed step?

Re: Residual Entropy 3rd Law of Thermodynamics

So theoretically what would higher entropy at 0k; a CO OR H2 molecule? Would they both have 0 entropy or would CO have some entropy due to its risidual entropy?

Re: Practice Quizes

Do we have quizzes this quarter similar to 14A with Lavelle? If we do how do we turn in the graded quizzes, just on a piece of lined paper?

Re: What is MO theory for? [ENDORSED]

MO diagrams help us determine stability of the bonds, relative electronegativity, paramagnetic or diamagnetic properties, and bond order. All of these help us determine the characteristics of the molecule in question.

[H3O][OH-]=10^-14

Why is it that [H3O][OH-] always equals the constant 10^-14?

Re: Rydberg Equation

If you use e=hv and plug in -hr/n^2 for e, the h cancels, yielding the v=r(n^2-n^2)

Re: Need help on this empirical formula [ENDORSED]

First, due to the law of conservation of mass, you know that of the 996.08 resulting grams, 339.2 grams of it must be the initial cobalt, as they did not specify any errors or other products. This means that the final compound is 339.2 grams of Cobalt 656.88 grams. Then you calculate mols of each el...
