@lilyjustine_1G I think the KOH is added to the cell diagram because an aqueous solution consisting of OH- ions is needed to supply the reaction with OH- ions. When I convert the copper into moles and use the molar specific heat for calculations, I end up with a different value for the heat than when I directly use the specific heat.
