for answers in the final, we are often told to find the wavelength of an atom, the compare it to its diameter and the question asks " Does it make sense?" the answer is always that "since the wavelength is less than size (diameter), yes it makes sense." May someone please explain...

in acids ch3cooh and c(ch3)3cooh, why does h has higher electron withdrawing ability than ch3? ( hence ch3cooh is a stronger acid than c(ch3)4cooh )

yes I agree because you have 2 Br which is -1 charge each, and a sulfate with a -2 charge. In total you have -4 charges and if Cr were to have a +3 charge, the whole ion would have -1 charge.
