They're on his class website. When you log into CCLE and go to his class website, look under the section "Have Questions?" You should find something labeled about Podcast and webcasts and click it then go to chem 14B Lavelle and whatever lecture you're in and it should send you directly to...

There aren't anymore quiz workbooks. The grades we get for our quizzes in our discussions will b the grade we get for that quiz, although if you're looking for practice problems, there are quiz practices in the back along with the midterms and finals.

I think it's because pKw=pH+pOH and because we know pKw= 14, you just plug in 14 and use the equation 14=pH+pOH to find your missing p, which in your case is pH.

For the first question, the reason why its more stable is because for whatever element you're using, when you calculate the formal charge of it, it's closer to 0 then it would've been if you didn't add the dashes. The closer it is to 0, the more stable it is.
