How can you know whether a ligand is a monodentate or bidentate etc? Other than just memorizing?

determining ionic/covalent from elctronegativity
If the difference in electronegativity falls between 1.5 and 2, how are we supposed to know whether to draw it as covalent or ionic? I still feel unclear on this.

It vasiacally comes down to wavelength; because UV has a shorter wavelength excited your cells more, causing abnormal growth and increasing the likelihood of mutations; thisbis why gamma rays are so harmful, and x-rays slightly less so, etc.

Khan Academy was an incredibly helpful resource for me when I was taking IB chemistry in high school! That in conjunction with the modules are a great refresher.
