I think you can always convert between moles and grams and it also depends whether you're using celsius or kelvin. You also use the molar heat capacity when solving for delta S = nCv ln (t2/t1)

Homework 17.31 (d): Naming Alphabetically

Question 17.31d asks to write the formula for sodium bisoxalato(diaqua)ferrate(III) but for the name of the compound, isn't it supposed to be alphabetical without regard to the prefixes? So why does bisoxalato come before diaqua? Thanks!

I think #9 on the fall 2014 quiz is an exception too? The answer says 5 x 10^-35 but I thought that it should be 5.03 x 10^-35 since in the given data in the question there are 3 sig figs.

I don't think we're required to do the self test portion. It's just for us to see what material we need to review. The quiz preparation (w/o the answers given) is the one that counts.
