Pressure, Temperature, Etc

I don't understand how to know if pressure increasing on one side affects something else on the other side. What is the relationship between pressure, temperature, and concentration in regards to this?

Ligands

I'm still a bit confused on what ligands are. Can anybody clarify what they are used to identify?

Electronegativity in Quiz 2 [ENDORSED]

If we are given a problem on quiz 2 that requires us to determine if a compound has ionic or covalent characteristics, will we be given the electronegativities of certain elements to determine that?

Still confused on the definition of shrodinger's equation?

What does it represent, and how do we do calculations with it, if necessary?

Emission v Absorption Lines

What do lines exactly represent in hydrogen(or any element really) emission or absorption spectra? Do they represent wavelengths or frequencies being absorbed or emitted respectively? I've watched the video modules and everything, I just really want a direct answer to this to clear some stuff up, be...

21. B. In a second experiment a shorter wavelength light source is used resulting in ejected electrons with a kinetic energy of 4.200 x 10-19 J. What is the energy of this incident light? What is the wavelength of this incident light? I don't understand how I am supposed to identify the energy of th...

I'm still a little bit confused on when it's the appropriate time to use Avogrado's constant in a problem. Can somebody give me an example, and define why it is necessary?

I live in Rieber Terrace, but would it be cool if I joined as well? The only times I would not be able to come at all are weekends, because I go home.

Charges [ENDORSED]

I'm confused on what charges mean/ what they contribute to in a problem? In exercise E23a Cu^2+ was given as one of the factors of the problem, but I never did anything in the problem that required me to take note of the 2+, so what is it for? And when is it necessary? How do you identify charges wh...
