The larger substituents have priority to be in the equatorial position, so ethyl would be equatorial.

Yes. I'm pretty sure we'll be given the half reactions on the constant sheets.

Boat Conformation
When we draw the boat conformation, how should we draw our axial bonds? Do the bonds on the top of the boat go axial up and the axial bonds on the bottom go axial down? What about for the carbons in the hollow part of the boat?

I have a question about page 94 in the course reader from yesterday's lecture. We went over pentyl and isopentyl, but I thought you use neo instead of iso for pentane and beyond. Shouldn't the name be neopentyl instead of isopentyl?

I hope I don't sound too politically charged, but we need to neutralize all free radicals. They are a cancer to our society.
