In Final 2011, #1c it asks for which has a greater residual entropy at 0K: NO or BF3.

In this specific question of the HW you need to use Hess's Law, since they give you information of the standard enthalpy of combustion of C 2 H 2 , C 2 H 6 , and H 2 .
