Naming Chemical Compounds
Can someone help me with how you name the chemical compound because I'm confused on the steps/order that you would name the compound by.
And how can you tell the compounds coordination number based on the charge since I'm also confused on that too.
Thanks

Electron Energy Levels
Can someone explain how you calculate the energy levels (or the n,l,ml,ms) I'm very confused on how you can calculate and validate them.
Thanks

Formal Charge Formula Clarification
I'm confused on how the Formal Charge Formula FC=V-(L+S/2) works since I keep getting the lone pair variable (L) and the shared bonds/electrons variable (S) confused when I draw a Lewis Dot Structure because I'm not sure which part of the diagram is the L variable and which part of the diagram would...

When your solving for the Formal Charge if you have double bonds in your compound does that count as one bond or two bonds for your "S" variable?

Chemical Bonds and Hybridity
What is the difference between single, double (etc) bonds and sigma and pi bonds?
Also I'm very confused on how does the topic of hybridity (hybrid orbitals) correlate with sigma bonds.

Writing the Electron Configurations
I have a quick question about how you write the electron configuration specifically for the D-Block. If we were to write the short hand electron configuration of Copper (Cu) why is it [Ar] 3d^10 4s^1 and not [Ar] 3d^9 and 4s^2.
