Quiz 3

Will we be taken off points if our arrows do not specifically show from exactly where the electron is being transferred from nucleophile to electrophile? Even if it is pointing to the right atom?

Oh okay thank you that definitely clarifies it. So follow up question, you know how you said that was based on the structure of it, does having the same geometry not mean they have the same structure, therefore wouldn't that be the same? Or am i going off somewhere else here?

Why is it that on Quiz 1 question 1 CO has a greater Molar entropy than N2. Is it based on the structure of the molecule or is it based on the molar mass of the molecule. Example 8.7 on Section 8.13

Can somebody explain to me why in example 8.7 in section 8.13 they use deltaH=(q)x(2 mol/n) to find the thermochemical equation. I'm confused as to why they divided the 2 mol by n.
