Homework 11.3
This might be a silly question, but do equilibrium equations need to be balanced before K is found? Part b of 11.3 doesn't have the same amount of N on each side, but the answer in the work book doesn't have any altered coefficients so it doesn't seem like it needed to be balanced. Thanks in advance!

Significant Figures in E21
For E21, the solutions manual writes the amount of moles of HF as 1.30x10^-3. I'm confused as to why 3 sig figs were used here (1.30) instead of 4 sig figs (1.295), because the two numbers that we begin with to reach this answer both have 4 sig figs.
