Polarity
I am still having a hard time understanding polarity. Can someone explain how we determine when a bond is polar or non polar?

Question 3 Test 1
Hello,
I have been trying to solve question 3 on test 1 for a good while now but my exponent is always off. I set the problem up the exact same way it comes out in the solutions provided by Dr.Lavelle but end up getting 1.4*10^71. Am I plugging in something wrong?
Best,
Juan Liberato

In the Course Reader I am aware you multiply by 3 to get all the numbers as...

Re: Sproul Hall Chem14A Study Group
okay, so it seems like there is a lot of interest in creating a Sproul Study group. We can study in one of the Sproul study rooms or find an area that will accommodate all of us. We can maybe meet every day we have class, so Monday, Wednesday, Friday. We can review general chemistry and what was dis...

Sproul Hall Chem14A Study Group
Who wants to form a study group for all of those in Sproul Hall? We can discuss the lectures and work through the homework problems together. We can decide on what days and time on this forum.
