Solids in Equilibrium Reactions
In the course reader, it says that "molar concentration of a pure substance (solid or liquid) does not change in a reaction." However, during lecture, Professor Lavelle mentioned that solids do not show up in equilibrium reactions. Can anyone explain to me why this rule exists? Thank you!
