the dihedral angle is the angle made by 4 consecutively covalently connected atoms. as for newman, these angles are commonly 0, 60, 120, and 180 and help to determine the positions of the the C, H, and other substituents.

yes bc anions have negative charges due to them gaining electrons; therefore they would be electron rich. however, nucleophiles don't always have to have a negative charge.

from my experience, we typically use atmospheres for our calculations. if it is not given, then it is best to convert it to atmospheres.
