When it comes to rounding when the digit after the last digit you keep is 5, how should we do it? I've learned to round down if the previous digit is even, and up if the previous digit is odd, but I'm not sure if that's standard convention. A little unrelated, but if there is a reaction that requires a catalyst, and the catalyst is present in very small quantities relative to the reactants, is it called a limiting reactant because it severely slows the reaction, or do we classify it as something else?
