### HW problem L1

To find the amt of Br2 that can be obtained from .3mol ClO2 via the following equation... 6ClO2 (g) + 2BrF3 (l) ----> 6ClO2F (s) + Br2 (l) (balanced) 6{.3mol ClO2 (g)] + 2BrF3 (l) -----> 6ClO2F (s) + Br2 (l) there is a 6 : 2 ratio of the reactants... can someone help me to solve this step by step? o...

### Re: Homework Problem E.9

To find the number of oxygen atoms, you must first find the number of moles in 5.15g of epsom salt. This can be found by dividing the given mass (5.15g) by the molar mass (246.3g/mol), which leaves you with 0.0209 moles of epsom salt. From here, you must use the mole ratio of oxygen to epsom salt i...

### Re: Empirical Formulas Rounding and Multiplying

I agree with the other user that the amounts should be leaning towards a value usch as 0.5 or 0.33. In addition, I would like to add that each step of the way to use the correct sig figs because this personally has helped me to find values that I can see where to round to more so. In many situation...
