I would say when you are working on intermediate calculations, then have more numbers and at the end round to correct number because if you round to close in the intermediate calculations that can affect your final answer by a lot.

My answers also have been of because depending on which periodic table you use the masses are a little different and also how you round and when you round affects your answer as well.

Any acid that ends in -ic means it is made up of a nitrate ion. AN easy way to remember it would be I ATE something ICky.
Thus Nitric Acid=HNO3
