Problem G13

I need help on the following problem (G13 in the textbook):
To prepare a fertilizer solution, a florist dilutes 1.0 L of 0.20 m NH4NO3(aq) by adding 3.0 L of water. The florist then adds 100. mL of the diluted solution to each plant. How many moles of nitrogen atoms will each plant receive? Solve this exercise without using a calculator.

Hi well first you use the formula M1*V1=M2×V2 o find the concentration after it has been diluted after finding the concentration you are going to want to multiple it by 2 since for every nitrogen atoms there are two in the equation then set this concentration equal to moles over .1 L and that will give you moles that each plant received!
