I was also confused by this question!! I'm pretty sure we were given for information than we needed in the question and some numbers didn't need to be used.

I also was confused on this question. Essentially the question states that a 50.ml solution of 0.1 M AlCl3 had .015g of aluminum deposited on the surface, asking for the concentration of aluminum ions in the electrolyte. I am confused as to the context of the question, as it mentions electroplating metals. I started by converting the .015g Al into moles, and then tried to divide the moles by the .05L to find the concentration of ions. I'm confused as to why I got the question wrong, and if anyone could explain? I think the confusing context contributed to a lack of understanding about what the question was asking.
