Question G21

On the textbook the answer to G21 part (a) is 4.58*10^-2 M. I did it multiple times and no matter how many significant figures I kept during calculation, I could only get 4.57*10^-2 M. I know the difference is very little, but this bothers me a lot...

Can anyone try to do this question and see if you can get the answer stated on the textbook?

I tried G.21 part A and I got 4.58 * 10^-2 M for my answer. Do you think the masses of your compounds could be slightly off because you're using a different periodic table?

Can you tell me the molar mass of each of the three compound you get? I have tried two periodic tables for now and I kept getting 4.57*10^-2 :(

I am also getting 4.57x10^-2 as my answer for part A. Could just be a simple rounding error, because the amount of moles of K+ should be .02285, but the book rounds it to .0229 before dividing by volume.

I also got 4.57x10^-2, but I think both answers should be fine

Both answers are acceptable. It's possible that the molar masses the textbook is using are slightly different than your own, causing the small difference. No need to worry about it though! Good work, everyone!
