Question G13 page F59 7th edition

im Having a little trouble calculating the moles of N atoms each plant will receive, I know the answer is 1.0x10^-2mole but I just don’t know how to get there. I’ve already calculated the number of moles in the new diluted solution of NH4NO3 which is 5.0x10^-3. Can anyone help with the last step.

Once you have the moles in the new solution (.05 mol), you need to multiply by the mole ratio of (2 moles N)/(1 mole NH4NO3)to find the moles of Nitrogen. Hope this helps!
