Is the sulfide being referred to in question E.15 the metal that is mentioned in the question? I was confused where the Sulfide suddenly came from?

There is a mystery metal in this problem, signified by the letter M in M(OH)2. They give you the molar mass of M(OH)2 so that you can get the molar mass of the mystery metal from there. The sulfide of this metal would be the compound that results from the mystery metal bonding with the element sulfide, so after you find the mystery metal, you would calculate the molar mass of the resulting compound.
