Dilution post assessment problem 25

Postby Eugene Chung 3F » Fri Oct 04, 2019 7:06 pm

I struggled solving this problem and ended up solving it using the volume ratios. I wanted to know if there was any other way to solve this problem.
Anyone willing to share tips of dilution problems?

By volume ratios, I assume you mean the M1V1=M2V2 formula? If so that is probably your quickest option. Otherwise, you could look at it like a dimensional analysis such as:

however, the calculations end up the same.
