Activated Complex

For the reaction ch3cho --> ch3 + cho rate= k[ch3cho]

how would you draw a proposed structure for the activated complex?

I would not know how to draw the transition state for this reaction because it does not appear to be a valid one. Would you be able to put the full example and where you found it at?

This example is from the homework problem chapter 15 #85

"The following rate laws were each derived from an elementary reaction. In each case, write the chemical equation for the reaction, determine its molecularity, and draw a proposed structure for the activated complex:"

a) Rate= k[ch3cho] (products ch3 and cho)

Sorry for the delayed response. Here is what a proposed TS would look like for this. The rate expression given suggests a concerted step in which the bond breaks.
