So at the end of the two "triangle" bolded and striped, there is a Carbon Atom. This Lewis structure also gives us the structure in 3D; the bolded triangle means that the atom attached to its end is towards the front while the atom attached to the striped triangle is towards the back. Therefore we can see the 3D representation of the molecule thanks to the bolded and striped triangles
If you imagine the sheet of paper is a 2-D rectangular plane, the bolded lines are meant to represent bonds coming toward your face and the dashed lines represent bonds going behind the plane of the paper. Try this out with a pencil to see it better.
