Pseudo-equilibrium constant

Postby shannon_tseng_3L » Mon Mar 06, 2017 11:04 pm

What's the significance of the pseudo-equilibrium constant? How would we apply it to a problem?

If you look at reader p86, it states that the pseudo-equilibrium constant allows us to relate the concentration of the activated complex to the concentrations of the reactants.
I think we could use the concentration of the reactants to find out the concentration of the activated complex in problems, and we could also relate the change to the concentration of the reactants to that of the activated complex.
