What Biological examples are important to know for the midterm?

I dont know of any biological examples that Lavelle specifically went over in class. I'm guessing you could apply delta H or delta S within a rxn in your body? I'm not sure but as far as I know, there hasn't been any mentioned biological examples.

I don't recall him going over any specific biological examples. However, the only thing that comes to mind is the process of rusting. This reaction would have iron reacting with water and oxygen and salt ions would speed up the process.

I recall Lavelle mentioning the relation of rates with neuron firing, but I believe it is not mandatory for us to know on the test
