Electrophilic addition

Is there such thing as nucleophilic addition, or is it only electrophilic addition and nucleophilic substitution? Is the way to tell between the two whether or not the number of molecules goes from 2 to 1 (addition) versus 2 to 2 (substitution)? Is there any other way we should know to differentiate between the two?

In organic chemistry, an electrophilic addition reaction is an addition reaction where, in a chemical compound, a π bond is broken and two new σ bonds are formed. This can be seen in the breaking of a carbonyl by a nucleophile attacking the carbon. For nucleophilic substitution, you are replacing a leaving group with a nucleophile on an electrophile. Nucleophilic addition is different from nucleophilic substitution.
