Hi, so is electrophilic addition always 2 steps and SN2 reactions always 1 step?

I think the names "electrophilic addition" and "SN2" just refer to what exactly is being added or substituted. I do not think it specifies any information about the number of steps.

Electrophilic addition is always 2 steps and SN2 is always 1 step, yes.
