SN2 carbon-hydrogen bonds

In SN2 reactions, there is a C-H bond that has a triangular/carrot-like shape, and another C-H bond with a few parallel lines in between. Do these represent the strengths of the bonds?

The different bond shapes are used to show the 3-D Lewis Structure in 2-D. They show the way in which atoms of a molecule are arranged in space. A broken wedge means that the hydrogen atom is behind the page and the completely filled in wedge means that the hydrogen atom is out in front of page.
