Chapter 3 Question 7

Postby Ethan_Kato_1D » Sat Mar 18, 2017 11:26 pm

How do you know if the drawing is supposed to be eclipsed or staggered? Is it based on the dihedral angle? If so, how does that work?

It depends on the stability of the conformation that you are trying to draw. You always draw staggered for most stable conformations and always draw elipse for least stable.
